We are hiring a temporary staff member who will report to the Associate Director of Public Services at the Harvard Law School Library.
Scheduling
Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Duties and Responsibilities:
Temporary Access Services Assistant needed for the Harvard Law School Library. This position is responsible for patron-facing services at a busy services point. As needed, this position will open the library Monday – Friday.
This work includes managing the loans and returns of general collection items and reserves items; Harvard Direct support in processing pick lists, packing and unpacking HUMS deliveries, and maintaining the hold shelves; Scan & Deliver; library technology support including basic troubleshooting printing, instructional use of the scanners, etc.; collection maintenance including shelving, shifting, shelf reading; reference referrals; and opening and closing procedures as scheduled.
