Job description

We are pleased to be recruiting for our client who are a long established business operating across the UK. They are looking to add to their team a permanent Experienced Access Control & Data Install Engineer.


Salary: £44,000 up to £49,000 pending experience, plus expensed Company Van, pension, holidays, and other benefits.


As an experienced Access Control & Data Install Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Access Control & Data Systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electronic security systems and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The role will also include other installation work, including but not limited to the installation of network infrastructure cabling (Cat5, Cat6, Cat6a, etc.) and CCTV Systems.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Install, configure, and maintain access control & Data systems including hardware and software components.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of access control & data systems to ensure optimal performance.
  3. Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
  4. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all installations and maintenance activities.
  5. Keep detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  6. This role will be a travelling position, requiring travel anywhere within the UK on a regular basis. Candidates will ideally be located in the South West Region.
