As an Academic Mentor, you will be required to support the classroom teacher with classroom duties, provide one-to-one support with students, and conduct small group interventions to maintain and develop students' knowledge in Maths A-level subjects. The successful Academic Mentor must have a positive and confident approach, strong subject knowledge, and a personality that will inspire students. The main purpose of this role is to encourage students to achieve their highest potential. The successful applicant will have excellent educational qualifications, including exceptional A Levels (or equivalent) and a strong undergraduate degree, along with a genuine passion for their subject.
This school is a selective 6th form, opened in September 2017, located in Tottenham. Their academic outcomes are in the top 5% nationally for both attainment and progress.
