Person specification: We are looking for candidates with:
Main duties of the job: Based at the Emergency Operations Centre in Lincoln you will receive 999 and urgent calls from the public and Health Service colleagues. You will prioritise calls in line with agreed protocols and provide pre-arrival advice. With shift durations up to 12 hours, including night working, we operate 24/7, 365 days a year, including public bank holidays such as Christmas and New Year.
Application process: Successful applicants will be invited to an online assessment on 17/12/24. Following a successful assessment, you will be invited to an interview on 18/12/24. The start date for successful applicants will likely be January/February. Training will be 5 weeks full-time, followed by approximately 8 mentoring shifts. Due to the training period, successful candidates wishing to apply for part-time positions will need to commit to full-time hours. Annual leave is also restricted during the training. Some elements of the training may be virtual or off-site.
