Job description

Are you a qualified 7.5t driver with some previous experience in delivery driving? We're looking for a HGV driver to come in and support our client with home deliveries and installation in Basingstoke.

This business visits millions of peoples’ homes every year, delivering and installing high-tech products. As a key member of their team, you will undoubtedly be enhancing their customers’ experience and you will be given the best training to help you deliver and install our client’s state-of-the-art tech and make that magic happen.

Duties:

1. Lifting heavy items and completing a multi-drop driving role
2. Ensuring the right products get to the right places at the right time
3. Installing a range of different products in customers' homes

Requirements:

1. You will have a current Class C1 UK/EA licence with no more than 6 penalty points
2. CPC card (and ideally) Tachograph card
3. Be customer-focused – you will have a flexible approach to your hours of work and be prepared to work weekends and public holidays as required to meet the needs of the business

Hours and Pay:

1. Your hours of work will be an 8-hour shift, based on a shift pattern of 5 days on and 3 days off
2. Pay rates on advanced PAYE (including holiday pay) £14.50ph
3. Overtime paid at £21.75ph

We ask that our drivers are competent, confident, have an understanding of driver hours and regulations – and are personable, friendly, and able to offer a great service to our customers.

Previous experience in delivery driving is preferable.
