Job Title: FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative - 5 Tonne

Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire

Duration: Ongoing (may lead to perm)

Pay Rates: £14.33 (PAYE) or £18.74 (Umbrella)

We are currently recruiting for a FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a well-established, constantly expanding engineering firm based out of Loughborough, Leicestershire.

Must have B2 Licence (over 5000kg)

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Offloading/loading of vehicles as required using fork lift trucks and overhead cranes.
2. Opening fabrication cases/pallets and unwrapping parts and assembling on plastic pallets.
3. Taking parts as requested into production related areas.
4. Weighing copper reels and advising weights prior to being stored/taken to the winding shop.
5. Supporting & delivering parts to shop & service department.
6. Raising Near misses and Safety Improvement opportunities and ensuring health and safety remains a focus for all activities.
7. Maintaining good standards of hygiene and housekeeping around all store's areas.
8. Working as part of the Stores team and carrying out other general stores duties as and when required, including stock take activities.
9. All employees have a legal duty to take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and others who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work and to observe and follow the relevant systems, rules, and methods of working.

Requirements:

1. Essential - B2 Counterbalance Licence (must have papers to support)
2. Essential - Experience operating a Forklift Truck.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday - 07:30 to 16:00
Friday - 07:30 to 12:30
Overtime is available when required.

Pay Rates:

PAYE - £14.33 per hour
UMB - £18.74 per hour (whilst temping)
