3rd Line IT Support Engineer
Hours: 37.5 hours per week plus evening and weekends as the role requires to support the organisation.

Salary: £35,388 per annum (Band 6)

Location: Compton, Wolverhampton and remote site locations.

We have an exciting opportunity for a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer to join our IT team at Compton Care.

Compton Care is committed to providing accessible, innovative, and influential care to patients with complex and incurable conditions. We also support the carers and families of patients within our local communities and work closely with health and social care colleagues from other organisations.

What You Will Do
As part of the IT team, you will directly line manage the 1st/2nd line IT Support Engineer and the helpdesk function which is supported by members of the wider informatics team, including cover in the absence of colleagues.

You will support Compton Care situated in Wolverhampton and surrounding areas, covering multiple sites with IT-related matters including but not limited to installation, set-up, repair, support, maintenance, and configuration of a variety of complex and integrated IT systems. You will have strong working knowledge of IT and data security.

What We Want You To Bring
You will need to have advanced technical skills, experience of installation and configuration of IT infrastructure, with a wide range of specialist knowledge within Information Technology and data security.

You will have advanced experience of troubleshooting and resolution whilst providing support to the organisation for all IT functions including the development and improvement of the IT infrastructure and systems.
