This is an excellent opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer or 3rd Line support engineer to join a market leader within its industry on a 6-month FTC.

This company is a leading services provider to a range of retail stores, banks, and cash centres nationwide. Due to consistent growth in all markets, the demand for their services is constantly increasing, and therefore they are looking for additional support in the coming months.

In this varied role you will be responsible for installing, supporting, managing, and troubleshooting Windows Servers, encompassing Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy management. This role will also involve dealing with storage solutions and network configuration/troubleshooting, covering VOIP, Cisco, and ideally firewalls, alongside virtualization. Lastly, installing, configuring, and maintaining MS SQL Server will be crucial to the role.

The ideal candidate will be highly capable with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and have a proven track record in the installation of Active Directory. Equally, proficiency in storage solutions, including NAS/SAN, and will require you to have knowledge of Netapp/EMC/HP, hyper-convergence, and ideally Virtual SAN. Ideally for virtualization, you will have experience with both Hyper-V and VMware platforms and have a strong background in installing/configuring MS SQL Server.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a 3rd Line Support or Infrastructure Engineer to join a market-leading organisation on a 6-month FTC, with the possibility of extension.

The Role:

Windows Server management (AD, DHCP, DNS, GPO).
Storage and network troubleshooting (VOIP, Cisco, firewalls).
Virtualization platform support.
MS SQL Server installation and maintenance.
5 Days onsite.

The Person:

Expertise in Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Active Directory.
Proficiency in NAS/SAN storage (Netapp/EMC/HP) and Virtual SAN.
Experience with Hyper-V and VMware virtualization.
Strong background in MS SQL Server installation/configuration.
Track record within a 3rd Line Support or Infrastructure Engineer role.
