Job Description
My client, an Engineering company based in Worcestershire, is looking to recruit a 3D Quality Inspector on a Permanent basis. This is to cover a PM shift, Mon-Thurs 1430-2300 and Fridays, 1430-1830.
As a suitable candidate, you will be expected to interpret drawings, ensure compliance with customer requirements, and produce relevant documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Perform inspections using tools such as Hexagon CMMs (PC-DMS), Zeiss 3D scanners, manual tools, and visual inspection techniques.
- Interpret Drawings.
- Report and manage quality issues.
- Document results using Excel and Zeiss Piweb.
- Conduct 5S and TPM activities.
- Previous inspection experience including non-conformance handling and reporting.
- Identifying appropriate inspection methods.
- Capable in manual and computerized measurement techniques.
- Experience in interpreting technical drawings and standards (ASME, ISO).
- Experience with 3D scanning, ideally Zeiss.
- Experience with IT systems including ERP, MS Office, and basic CAD.
The basic salary on offer is £27,000 with a 20% shift allowance.
