Job description

My client, an Engineering company based in Worcestershire is looking to recruit a 3D Quality Inspector on a Permanent basis.

This is to cover a PM shift, Mon-Thurs (Apply online only) and Fridays, (Apply online only).

As a suitable candidate you will be expected to interpret drawings, ensure compliance with customer requirements and produce relevant documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

The main responsibilities associated with the role include:

  1. Perform inspections using tools such as Hexagon CMMs (PC-DMS), Zeiss 3D scanners, manual tools and visual inspection techniques.
  2. Interpret drawings.
  3. Report and manage quality issues.
  4. Document results using Excel and Zeiss Piweb.
  5. Conduct 5S and TPM activities.

As a suitable candidate you will offer the following:

  1. Previous inspection experience including non-conformance handling, reporting, approval/rejections.
  2. Identifying appropriate inspection methods.
  3. Capable in manual and computerized measurement techniques.
  4. Experience in interpreting technical drawings and standards (ASME, ISO).
  5. Experience with 3D scanning, ideally Zeiss.
  6. Experience with IT systems including ERP, MS Office, and basic CAD.

The basic salary on offer is £27,000 with a 20% shift allowance.
