About The Role

We are looking for an experienced 360 Materials Handler to join the team in our Chandlers Ford Supercentre. The handler will have a good knowledge of routine maintenance and safety checks as well as being able to operate in a safe manner with the equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate equipment and Supercentre machinery safely and efficiently, always adhering to Health and Safety requirements.
  • Conduct routine inspections before operating equipment to identify needed maintenance or repairs.
  • Assist in the extraction, loading, and unloading of vehicles and materials requests checking against paperwork and recording any differences.
  • Assist in the stock level control within the Supercentre.
  • Assist in the assembly of any equipment required for specialist applications.
Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

  • CPCS A59B (Wheeled 360 Excavator) or NPORS equivalent certification.
  • At least one year’s experience within the 360 GRAB Operating.
  • Must have a good understanding of health and safety.
  • Be able to adapt and meet challenging situations with a positive approach.
  • You will need to be flexible with working hours and be available to be part of our ‘on call’ rota.
  • Be willing and able to travel and on occasions work away from home & hold a current Full UK driving license.

Preferred:

  • Forklift truck operator certification.
  • An understanding of the workings of a temporary / permanent pumping solution.
