3.5 Tonne Multi Drop Van Driver

Location - Avonmouth BS11

Salary - £12.00 per hour

Shift pattern/days worked - Monday - Friday

We're looking for qualified and experienced 3.5T Van drivers for regular work on an ongoing Monday to Friday basis, completing day shifts.

The role is 3.5T Van Driver with multi drop palletised goods ensuring customers receive a high level of customer service, happy to do hand balling when needed.

Key tasks:

1. Delivering items to customers and collections
2. 3.5T Van Multi Drop Driver
3. Days 07.30 start times

Duties:

1. Safely operate a van to transport goods and materials to designated locations
2. Load and unload palletised goods using appropriate equipment with a manual pump truck and have experience of using curtain sided van and tail lift.
3. Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods
4. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
5. Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
6. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
7. Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries

Requirements:

1. Valid driver's license with 2 years minimum experience
2. Clean driving record with no major violations
3. Proven experience as a 3.5t driver with multi drop experience of palletised goods
4. Ability to operate and maintain the vehicle
5. Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
6. Strong communication and customer service skills
