About the opportunity:

We are the internal recruitment partner for our client, a rapidly growing IT service provider with a commitment to delivering exceptional service through a customer focused approach and cutting-edge IT technology solutions.

We are presenting an exciting opportunity for a passionate and self-motivated 2nd Line Support Technician to join their supportive team based in Bristol.

As a member of the Technical Support Team, you will play a vital role in addressing a variety of complex support cases and supporting the first line team. Utilising your technical expertise, you will troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems, ensuring that clients receive prompt and effective solutions.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a Managed Service Provider environment.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A natural problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications and managed firewalls.
  • Experience with on premise Microsoft server environment would be desirable.
  • Live within a commutable distance to the offices in Bristol.
  • Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle
  • Ideally experienced with WatchGuard firewalls (not essential)

In return we are offering:

  • A competitive salary up to £35,000 dependent on skills, knowledge, and experience
  • Holiday entitlement of 25 days plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 day for each year of service up to a maximum of 28 days
  • Pension contributions
