Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Salary: £28,500 - £33,000

Our client is searching for a tech-savvy problem solver to play a pivotal role in their daily operations. If you're passionate about delivering top-notch IT support and ensuring clients' needs are met with precision and efficiency, this is the role for you!

Responsibilities:

1. Providing expert IT support - answering calls, raising tickets, and resolving 2nd line technical issues.
2. Guiding and mentoring 1st Line Analysts & Field Engineers.
3. Investigating & escalating incidents to 3rd line where needed.
4. Ensuring seamless client communication and managing expectations.
5. Collaborating with the wider IT team to improve processes and service delivery.
6. Staying ahead of the game by continuously improving your technical knowledge.

What we are looking for:

1. Proven experience working in a helpdesk environment within a managed service provider.
2. Microsoft 365 expertise.
3. Strong IT Foundation - ideally a relevant qualification such as an NVQ, Diploma, degree or demonstrable progress towards one.
4. Strong technical knowledge across Windows server and desktop environments, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and Windows operating systems.
5. A strong grasp of core IT networking principles.
