2nd Line IT Service Desk Analyst

Glasgow City Centre / Hybrid
£25,000 - £33,000


Daily Duties:
  1. Handling 1st line escalations and 2nd line support tickets, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
  2. Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues both remotely and onsite.
  3. Managing and maintaining IT systems, including Active Directory, Office 365, and virtualized environments.
  4. Working from the office on a mix of ticket-based work and projects, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience.
  5. Collaborating with senior engineers on complex technical challenges and infrastructure projects.
  6. Opportunity to progress into a senior role, providing onsite client support as part of your career development.
  7. Visiting client sites when necessary (driving license required).

Tech Stack:
  1. Active Directory and Office 365 administration.
  2. Windows Server and Virtualization (VMware).
  3. Networking: configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  4. Backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  5. Hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting.
