Job description

A fixed term vacancy has arisen in our Department for an assistant psychologist to work within Clinical Health Psychology service. This post will support existing multi-disciplinary clinicians in the delivery of chronic pain services including promoting the biopsychosocial model.

Applications are invited from an enthusiastic and energetic individual who wants to play key roles in offering evidence-based psychological interventions to this population.

This is an exciting new post to increase the reach and capacity of psychological approaches to this client group and its workforce. The role will involve contributing to the delivery of pain education sessions, supporting service developments, screening and triage processes.

The Department, which now has a complement of around 90 staff, has psychologists and psychological therapists in all major specialties and is a friendly, supportive and lively place of work.
