An established healthcare provider is seeking a self-motivated nurse or midwife to embark on a rewarding career in Health Visiting. We are offering an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated nurse or midwife, with current NMC registration to pursue a career in Health Visiting. We are looking for an experienced practitioner to undertake the Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (Health Visiting) at SCQF level 11, studying with the University Of West of Scotland, which will enable you to achieve the Standards of Proficiency for the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SPCHN) qualification.
Candidates are required to demonstrate a strong track record of leadership skills, be highly motivated, and ideally have experience of working with children and families in a community setting. We are looking for candidates with experience and understanding of the health needs of children and families; who want to make a difference to improving the health and wellbeing of children who are not yet at school, and have knowledge of Scotland’s Public Health agenda, including Getting it Right for Every Child, The Promise, and the Children and Young People’s Act. Candidates must be able to work in partnership with families, local authorities, and a range of other stakeholders to deliver high quality, evidence based, person-centred care.
