About the Role
This post is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacy technician to join our friendly clinical pharmacy team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic leader to work alongside an existing post holder in an expanded portfolio in partnership with lead clinical pharmacists, to spearhead the development of existing and new roles in this area for pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support workers. Gastroenterology at the Western General Hospital site provides high quality care to patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), nutritional care needs and other gastroenterology conditions across inpatient and outpatient areas. The gastroenterology unit comprises of a 17 bedded ward attached to an outpatient infusion suite for administration of biologic medicines and an outpatient department responsible for around 2000 IBD patients advanced therapy medicines.
