2 Day Nanny, Girton, Cambs

This super position has just arisen to work for a lovely caring family in Girton. They have a sweet 7-month-old baby boy and they are looking for someone to care for him two days per week – Monday, Wednesday or Friday 9-5pm. The role starts in April and as of October there is potential for the role to extend to 3 days per week working 8am-6pm.

The ideal nanny would be someone really engaging with a very kind manner. Someone who is very knowledgeable about the EYFS and development milestones too. The little boy was born with a condition which means he may have speech development delays, and whilst he is generally thriving he would benefit from someone happy to spend extra time on developing language skills – letters, numbers and general conversation as he gets older.

Mum is currently on maternity leave, returning in October so the right candidate must be happy with this.

A lovely role – no housekeeping is expected at all.

Minimum experience Level for this job: Minimum 2 years proven experience of being a nanny
Details of any training needed for this job: Paediatric first aid certificate and enhanced DBS on the update service.
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: Childcare qualifications CACHE level 3 and above or equivalent
Hours of work: 9-5PM x 2 days/ 16hrs per week
Days required: 2 days per week (Monday, Wednesday or Friday)
Driving required: Yes, parking available. Car can be provided if needed
Job Start Date: April 25 start – long term
Salary: up to £18 gross per hour/ up to £14,976 gross per annum

Requirements
