ICT 1st Line Support Technician
37 hours per week, permanent onsite.
Salary NS5: £25,183 - £25,584 per annum (pay award pending)
A DBS Basic Check Is Required For This Role.
Are you passionate about delivering first-class ICT support? We are looking for an ICT 1st Line Support Technician to provide an effective and efficient first-line response to internal customers.
Based primarily at Castle House, Newark, with occasional travel to satellite offices, this role is ideal for someone with some experience in ICT systems, but don't worry if you're still developing your skills. Support and training will be provided for the right candidate. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to gain an ITIL Level 3 qualification and Microsoft training, helping you grow and develop within the field of ICT.

Your duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
You will work across a range of Council sites and must be able to work flexibly to ensure that a high level of service is delivered. You will also provide excellent customer service and be able to work with tact and diplomacy to handle sensitive matters.
The post requires the individual to have regular access to a vehicle to enable them to travel within/outside the district to carry out their duties. Free staff parking is valid until 30 June 2026.
