We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Events Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in data analysis and event management, with the ability to interpret and leverage data to enhance the effectiveness of our events. This role is crucial in ensuring that our events are strategically planned, executed flawlessly, and meet our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to event performance, attendee demographics, and engagement metrics to provide actionable insights.
  2. Event Planning Support: Assist in the planning and execution of events by providing data-driven recommendations and logistical support.
  3. Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports on event outcomes, ROI, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  4. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for innovation in event planning and execution.
  5. Budget Management: Assist in budgeting and forecasting for events, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, sales, and operations teams to align event strategies with business goals.
  7. Technology Utilisation: Utilise event management software and data analytics tools to streamline processes and enhance data accuracy.
  8. Post-Event Analysis: Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and areas for improvement, providing detailed reports to stakeholders.

Experience needed:

  1. Proven experience in data analysis, event planning, or a similar role.
  2. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  5. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  6. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
  7. Familiarity with event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite) is a plus.
  8. Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in event management and data analysis.
