12ab Traffic Management Operative

Hours: General hours of work are 48 per week and is night time working.

Salary: From £144.14 per shift depending on location, skills and experience with bonus, benefits and overtime opportunity.

Who is Chevron Traffic Management?

Chevron Traffic Management sets up temporary road or lane closures, diversion routes or pedestrian walkways to keep road workers and road users safe while roadworks are underway. This involves putting out road cones, signage, temporary traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, and barriers.

Responsibilities of a 12ab Traffic Management Operative:

• Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management such as deploying:
  • cones,
  • signs,
  • frames,
  • sandbags,
  • and other equipment on high speed roads.
• Helping and guiding new trainees.

What Good Looks Like for a 12ab Traffic Management Operative:

• Knowledge of Chapter 8
• Full driving licence, with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have been expired for at least 5 years
• Able to pass a drug and alcohol test; your offer will depend on the outcome of this
• Adaptability and Flexibility
• Meticulous attention to detail
