Video Editor Specialized in Marketing Content
Contracting Empire is an agency that specializes in providing websites, SEO, local SEO, and ad management services for contractors in the US. As a Marketing Video Editor, your full-time role will be primarily focused on producing, editing, and delivering marketing content for Contracting Empire’s own branding, promotional campaigns, and educational materials. You’ll also support client projects with video editing for ads or social media when needed.
This role requires exceptional English communication skills and a strong understanding of marketing principles.

What you'll be doing:
- Collaborate closely with our marketing team to conceptualize videos that clearly explain complex marketing concepts to a diverse audience.
- Edit and produce long-form video content that aligns with our marketing strategies and objectives (using Premiere or DaVinci Resolve).
- Collaborate with different people on the team to create assets for websites, ads, and social media.
- Conceptualize and develop storyboards, shot lists, and production plans.
- Edit video footage with CapCut or other minimalistic editor for shorts and short-form content if needed.
- Create and edit images as needed.
- Incorporate motion graphics, sound design, and special effects to enhance the final product.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
- Maintain a strong understanding of video industry trends and best practices in digital editing.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- You need to be genuinely excited about digital marketing. Keep up with the newest marketing ideas, SEO, content, and social media. Show you can use marketing skills to make interesting learning materials.
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Video Editor or Creative Director in an advertising, marketing, or creative agency, with a portfolio that shows your expertise in marketing-related video projects.
- Exceptional creative and conceptual skills are crucial for translating complex marketing concepts into compelling visual narratives that resonate with viewers.
- Excellent technical knowledge of video production workflows, including filming, lighting, sound, and post-production techniques.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality video projects on time and within budget.
- Adaptability and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Impeccable English communication skills, both written and spoken. We have daily Zoom calls, and you must understand the content you're editing fully, so great English is a must.
- Bonus points if you’ve worked with English-speaking clients or have international agency experience.
