Great opportunity to join our growing Mid-Cap France coverage team

Job Summary :

As a Vice President in our Mid-Cap team, you will be responsible for supporting the relationships with public and private companies with revenues of up to $2 billion. This group provides traditional corporate banking products as well as investment banking products to its clients. Our business partners include product specialists from Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, M&A, Treasury Services, Corporate Derivatives, and Private Banking.

We help clients achieve their long-term strategic goals through financing, liquidity, payments, risk management, and investment banking solutions. With a global reach, local expertise, and deep sector knowledge, we’re able to deliver end-to-end solutions to help our clients in more than 100 markets efficiently run their businesses and fuel their growth.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Identify, pursue, and close sales opportunities for a broad range of financial products and services.
  • Support the management of multi-product client relationships as the primary relationship manager.
  • Coordinate the sales and service delivery of multiple internal business partners.
  • Proactively market clients and prospects; represent GCB Mid-Cap Banking Group in the local banking and business communities and develop a network of referral sources.
  • Collaborate with the credit underwriting team on analysis, structuring, negotiation, and documentation of credit requests.
  • Maintain strategic dialogue with clients and prospects to generate ongoing corporate finance, treasury services, and credit opportunities.
  • Strictly comply with all regulatory and JPMC rules, policies, and procedures.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :

  • Relevant experience as a Client / Relationship Manager selling corporate finance or commercial banking products and services, or coming from a Markets Coverage background.
  • Knowledge of the French Mid Cap Market.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Demonstrate credit and problem-solving skills and have strong analytical skills to do market research.
  • Knowledge of credit, corporate finance, treasury, investment banking, and other banking products.
  • Must be a team player who can effectively communicate and work with product, coverage, and support partners.
  • Candidate must be a top individual contributor, with 10+ years of banking experience and a strong performance track record.
  • Must be able to develop and present business strategy to management committees.
