As we continue to develop Marine & Offshore sustainable services, join our organization as VeriSTAR Green Business Owner (F/M) for our Head Office. The position is ideally located in our La Défense (Courbevoie - 92) office in France; another location may be considered.

Role & Main Responsibilities

Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore (M&O) is engaged in an ambitious digital strategy to support the decarbonization of the maritime industry through innovative and data-driven services. This ambition is reflected in the objective of offering a brand of sustainability services through a VeriSTAR Green digital platform recognized as the reference in the classification market.

As the Digital Business Owner for VeriSTAR Green, you are the bridge between various stakeholders (Operations, Verifiers, Sustainability teams) and the digital development teams. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, quantitative and qualitative targets, and roadmap to drive the continuous development and improvement of this strategic service offering. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including regulatory experts, technical experts, emission verifiers, operation networks, and clients.

The job incumbent will be responsible for:

• Serving as the voice of the customer, translating market and client expectations into an ambitious product strategy,
• Informing on industry trends, competitive offerings, and best practices to feed the product vision,
• Defining and monitoring business impacts to Bureau Veritas M&O revenue, operating profit, and return on investments,
• Managing, prioritizing, and arbitrating the product backlog with the various stakeholders,
• Defining product KPIs, analyzing usage data, and identifying opportunities for enhancement,
• Communicating the product roadmap, releases, and changes to internal and external audiences with the support of our commercial department (KAM & Sales Excellence, Commercial Product Management, Marketing & Communication),
• Working cross-functionally in coordination with our Commercial department to enable effective go-to-market strategies, sales support, and customer success initiatives.

Requirements

Diploma: Engineer or equivalent (master level) or ex-Captain/Chief Engineer.

Rigorous and structured, you have good analytical and writing skills. 10 years of experience in the maritime industry with knowledge of IMO and EU GHG Regulations.

An experience within a Classification Society will be a plus.

You have demonstrated experience in digital project management.

Full proficiency in English.
