Your Role

Okoone is looking for a highly motivated Product Designer / UI/UX Designer who will imagine and design features for web and mobile applications used by millions of people around the world in order to deliver an exceptional experience and help Okoone’s customers reach their business goals. With the help of Okoone Lead Product Designers, and in collaboration with our customers' Marketing, Business and Engineering teams, your focus will be to:

1. Create sophisticated design artifacts (flows, journey maps, wires, mocks, prototypes, specs, related documentation) to clearly communicate a compelling desired future state for the product.
2. Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.
3. Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented properly.
4. Work within and build upon design systems, ensuring consistency across all products and platforms.
5. Collaborate with designers, developers, engineering leads, and product owners to finalize designs, write requirements, and ensure they are technically feasible and scalable within engineering constraints.
6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design processes.
7. Advocate for design best practices across the organization.

Ideal Profile

You must be a talented, versatile, and motivated Product Designer with sufficient experience to work in an efficient and agile way. Ideal candidates will have a can-do attitude, a passion for digital products, and a good level of knowledge about design in general:

1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience in design with an emphasis on Product Design, Graphic design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field.
2. 3+ years digital product design experience with current design tools (e.g. Figma).
3. Excellent design craft and the ability to blend that with strong intuition for business.
4. Ability to justify design decisions and articulate alternative design approaches.
5. Ability to discern when to deliver and when to push for more clarity or definition.
6. Ability to build functional prototypes.
7. A history of leading design for and launching complex, yet intuitive products.
8. Experience working iteratively with engineering teams to bring visions to life.
9. Experience in Product Design organizations that have shipped software to users, working closely with Product and Engineering teammates to develop the strategy and rationale for features.
10. A team-centric and collaborative working style, with the ability to work cross-functionally across various teams.
11. Ability to storyboard, build wireframes/prototypes, and translate ideas to others, influencing external and internal stakeholders.
12. At ease with design tools, Figma, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
13. A portfolio of work that demonstrates an understanding of information hierarchy, business objectives, good usability practices, and a solid sense of aesthetics.
14. Ability to work with multicultural teams and stakeholders located in different regions of the world (US, Europe, Asia).
15. Good level of communication and leadership (clients/internal).
16. Good level of spoken and written English to communicate in an international environment.
