Description of the department:

The Loan & Private Debt team is part of the AXA IM Alts Structured Finance department (100 experts) which manages more than €50Bn in assets. The Structured Finance department is the part of the financial industry involved with non-traditional fixed income products that aim to target stable and predictable cash flows. The Loans & Private Debt Team is dual-based in New-York (12 people) and Paris (23 people).

The main responsibilities of the role:

• Handle the settlement of primary and secondary market: take care of the total process until the funding (LMA Trade Confirmation, Transfer Certificate, closing), follow up with counterparties / Agencies;
• Maintain relationships with Third Parties (Virtus, ClearPar / IHS Markit, Trustees) and provide all information needed;
• Be in charge of the resolution of any potential issues before and after the settlement of the trade with Virtus and trustees;
• Cash management: liaise with the middle office, send instructions, manage the cash level available for each portfolio, make a selection of trades to settle, handle the specific cash topics of warehouses.

• Organized and able to work with short deadlines;
• Relational and behavioral skills: ability to work in an international environment with a strong team spirit;
• Experience in settlement would be a plus;
• Autonomous and capacity to work in a team.
