Trainee Product Application Engineer (f / m / div) - International Graduate Program

As an IGP Product Application Engineer for our Power Distribution Division, you will assist the customer support of a product family in the power distribution, interacting with customers and different departments for the development of solutions and promotion of products. In this task, you will build many of the strengths we ask from our future leaders in our organizations.

Your program consists of the following elements:

• At the Provence Infineon R&D site, you will take over the technical marketing tasks on a family of Power Distribution Products and contribute to the strategy of the product line.
• An international assignment of 3-6 months either in China or Japan to cover the different areas of our teams and support the adoption of our new gate drivers and to build up your own network.
• You will support the technical marketing team in the promotion and support of an entire product family portfolio.
• You will also share the responsibilities in the customer support for our new gate drivers, supporting customers in the adoption and bringing experience and solutions in electronics, power electronics, and embedded software.
• You are part of a global interdisciplinary expert team consisting of technical marketing, product definition, and product application engineers.
• You will be actively engaged with the local team but also with technical marketing, product marketing, and regional marketing.

You are curious and interested in a broad range of topics and always try to get new insights and ideas. You don’t expect things to be handed to you on a silver platter. You question existing assumptions, put the customer at the heart of your actions, and love change – which is guaranteed in the semiconductor industry. You are pragmatic and analytic, because we need both at Infineon. Standing still is not your thing. Plus, you fulfill the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Proven experience in embedded software development
• Practical industry experience, ideally gained through international internships during your studies
• A methodical and analytical mindset, with the ability to comprehend, summarize, and present complex topics in a clear and concise manner
• A solution-focused approach to problem-solving
• A strong affinity for decarbonization and digitalization, as well as a keen interest in technology and market trends
• Fluency in English, accompanied by excellent communication and presentation skills
