About the team

Sportsbook Trading Team is a group of professionals passionate about sports, responsible for building a sports betting offer, managing the odds, risk, and profitability of a sportsbook.

Our key tasks include :

• Providing our clients with a top competitive sports betting offer
• Setting and adjusting odds, using statistical models, market analysis and real-time data to determine and update betting odds.
• Risk Management, monitoring betting patterns to detect sharp bettors, arbitrage opportunities, and potential liabilities to minimize financial exposure.
• Market Analysis : Tracking competitor odds, betting trends, and news that could impact events.
• Stakes and Limits Management : Controlling betting limits per event, market, and bettor profile to balance risk and profitability.

In short, the Sportsbook Trading Team ensures the sportsbook remains competitive, profitable, and protected against sharp betting strategies.

About the role - What can you get involved in ?

The Trading Quality Control & Monitoring Agent (Intern) is ensuring the smooth operation of GiG’s sportsbook platform.

Their main responsibilities include :

• Monitoring sportsbook websites to detect issues, errors, or areas for improvement.
• Checking labels and translations for sports, competitions, and events.
• Overseeing live sports events to ensure accuracy and smooth operation.
• Assisting traders in managing and optimizing the sports betting offer.
• Supporting client communication regarding sportsbook-related inquiries.

This role requires attention to detail, analytical skills, and a passion for sports, with the ability

to work evenings and weekends when needed.

Requirements

• Passionate about sports
• Good Mathematical skills
• Proficient in both written and spoken English
• Ability to learn fast, a keen eye for detail, rigor and proactivity
• Ability to work well with others and be a team-player
• Studying a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or Data Science.
