Job Description:

To enhance our team in Paris, we are searching for a:

Technical Service Engineer (m/f/d) with French language – SIKORA FRANCE

More than 300 employees at our headquarters in Bremen, Germany, and in the international subsidiaries provide our customers innovative product solutions and individual service.

These are your tasks:

1. Install, commission and service measuring, controlling and sorting equipment at our customers’ facilities
2. Repair and calibrate equipment and electric boards in our office
3. Perform customer training
4. Preparation of service quotes
5. Reporting of the work carried out
6. After-sales customer care
7. Cooperate closely with SIKORA‘s network of international service engineers

These are our expectations:

1. Technical education with a specialization in mechatronics, electronics, electrical engineering or automation
2. Extensive knowledge in electronics
3. Knowledge in measurement technology and the safe handling of the multimeter, oscilloscope and other mounting and measuring tools
4. Knowledge of PLC programming and field bus systems will be an advantage
5. Computer Skills; Windows, MS Office products
6. Read and analyze electrical circuit diagrams
7. Technical orientation
8. Good knowledge of English (speaking and writing)
9. Service logic and customer-orientation
10. Good communication skills
11. Flexibility and self-learning
12. Organizational skills, management skills
13. Willingness to travel is required (mainly France, occasionally Europe and North Africa)
14. Travels can exceptionally include the weekends. Usually, they don’t.
15. Valid driver’s license
16. Initial training for 8-10 weeks in Bremen, Germany
