We are hiring a Security Technical Specialist Manager to lead a team of world-class technical sellers in the Enterprise tier. As a proven sales leader, you will support your team in achieving and exceeding quarterly and yearly targets that deliver end-to-end thought leadership and transformational customer outcomes. You will enable and empower your team to drive technical wins. Responsibilities

Business & Technical Leader

  • Scale Customer Engagements: Enable and empower the team to influence customer decisions and ensure technical wins by streamlining processes and managing the flow of wins, leveraging deep knowledge of processes, tools, and programs. Proactively identify and leverage knowledge/orchestration of resources and own the resolution of blockers.
  • Deep Technical Understanding: Understand Security and Data Security architectures and solutions, including Microsoft M365 Defender, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Microsoft Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Insider Risk Management, and Defender for Cloud Apps (CASB).
  • Maximize Area-Level Capabilities: Scale through partners by coaching the team to grow the partner network, identifying gaps, and promoting Microsoft within the ecosystem.
  • Build and Empower Team: Influence competitive strategies; coach and provide support to the team and across internal teams to execute strategy; identify cross-workload strategy opportunities; maintain communications with internal partners; act as a subject matter expert on competitive disciplines.

People Management and Development

  • Attract, Develop, and Retain Talent: Support mentorship, identify growth opportunities, build development plans with direct reports, and conduct development discussions while driving execution of projects; foster a growth mindset and learning-focused culture by empowering the team to focus on learning.
  • People Management: Deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring; establish and communicate performance expectations; lead the team to accept change and retain performance levels while responding to changing demands.

Qualifications

  • Proven Experience in Cybersecurity: Solutions expertise and understanding of market trends and challenges is a plus.
  • 8+ years of technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery, or related experience.
  • 6+ years of experience with cloud and hybrid, or on-premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
  • 3+ years of people management experience (including leading virtual teams).
