About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

In this role, you will lead individual strategic initiatives and projects and work with teams across the company in support of Google's global data center energy portfolio, including our efforts to reach 24/7 carbon-free energy and other clean energy objectives. In particular, this position will focus on providing structuring expertise to the energy team by reviewing the portfolio impact of non-standard agreement structures, analysis, risks, and non-standard contract terms and conditions while proactively identifying improvements that support portfolio optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally to identify new structuring opportunities, while incorporating a comprehensive view of the portfolio.
  • Guide negotiators to identify, structure, and price non-standard agreements.
  • Create analysis to support portfolio management transactions, evaluate investment opportunities and assist in the negotiation of transaction provisions and structuring.
  • Assess and translate competition, industry trends, emerging challenges, and changes in the marketplace into structuring strategies.
  • Develop innovative solutions that improve the way the portfolio is managed while achieving portfolio objectives.

Google is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status.
