We are looking for a Technical Instructor specialized in diesel for our Special Applications activity, based in Surgères.
What you will do:
Your missions will be as follows for our Special Applications activity and within the framework of the Diesel Academy SPA:
- Engine section in support and agreement with the technical service: Module A, Module B, Module C, and Module D
- Review the archives of the L&S Academy, update them, modernize them, and propose corresponding training modules
- In connection with Technical Assistance, create a training module on twin engines
- In connection with the results of START2025 and Field Service: create advanced level engine training modules for CNPE operators
- According to customer and internal requests, create adapted training modules according to the working methodologies of the Land&Sea Academy of the group and based on existing engine quality documentation
- Ensure that the technical content proposed in the training is always up to date in connection with QPTM
- Pre-training documentation: Convocation, Program, etc.
- Educational outline: theoretical and practical with details of sequences, schedules
- Post-training documentation: Certificates, session evaluations, acquired knowledge evaluations, etc.
- Analysis of training evaluations and proposals for continuous improvement
- Link with external training organizations specialized in mechanical/engine/nuclear fields
- Use Skill Up for tracking training sessions and their organization
- Be the reference for the Diesel Academy WSPA (engine school, training modules, promotion, etc.)
- Be the reference for occasional internal trainers of Special Applications
- Deliver training to teach pedagogy, group animation techniques, have a continuous improvement approach based on trainee feedback, ensure the quality of training, certify the skills of internal trainers
These missions will be carried out while respecting the applicable rules in terms of Quality, Safety, and Environment, in accordance with Wärtsilä's commitment.
Any occasional mission related to Training may be requested in support by the Training team.
Respond occasionally to internal Technical requests.
Some occasional trips to the Land&Sea Academy (Netherlands) are to be expected.
