Job Description

Contexte

As a Tech Lead, you will join the software team and report directly to Benjamin, VP Engineering. You will have the opportunity to manage a team of 3 to 5 developers.

Your future missions

1. Defining and tracking objectives of your team, conducting annual and professional interviews, and fostering squad dynamics.
2. Sharing your technical expertise within the squad.
3. Collaborating with the Product Owner to refine and prioritize the roadmap.
4. Defining and implementing major technological advancements with other Tech Leads and the VP of Engineering.
5. Developing features while adhering to the highest quality standards.
6. Enhancing our test pyramid.
7. Regular technical monitoring and research.

Skaleet's Core Banking Platform is a set of web and mobile applications hosted in the cloud and delivered as a SaaS solution.

Technologies We Use Daily:

• Core system in PHP 8.2 / MariaDB
• Modules in TypeScript
• Mobile application in React Native
• Web applications in ReactJS / Next.js
• Infrastructure: Docker / Elastic Stack / RabbitMQ / OpenShift

Desired Profile

You are a great match if:

• Education: Master's degree from an engineering school.
• Experience: minimum of 4 years in a fintech or a bank as a Tech Lead.
• Languages: Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to collaborate with diverse teams; an excellent team player.
• You thrive on challenges, have an entrepreneurial mindset, and enjoy the energy of scale-ups.
• Bonus Points: Previous experience in an international or European setting is a plus.

About Your Future Manager

Benjamin is the VP Engineering of Skaleet. Graduated from École des Ponts et Chaussées, he joined Skaleet after completing his studies as a software engineer before advancing to Tech Lead of the payments team. He now manages all the tech leads and is the point of reference to define the long-term roadmap.

Recruitment Process

1. A first video call with Juliette from the HR team to get to know each other and tell you more about Skaleet, our company culture & values (30 minutes).
2. A technical interview with Benjamin, VP Engineering, to dive deeper into the specifics of the role (60 minutes).
3. A peer programming exercise to test your knowledge (90 minutes).
4. A final meeting at our offices in Boulogne with Martin, our CEO, or Geoffroy, our Secretary General (60 minutes).
