We are looking for a proactive and dynamic people manager to join as our Team Lead, Sales. You will be the primary conduit between the Product Sales Manager, the merchant team, the product brands, and the customers. You will supervise, mentor, and develop a cross‐functional sales team, and foster a service environment to create the luxury service experience for our customers. You will demonstrate the ability to lead and role model our highest standard of service quality.
Main responsibilities:
Team management
- Ensure that the team has clear goals and objectives that remain focused on the customer experience and productivity targets.
- Supervise the sales area: ensure that there is a strong energy and a positive experience in the sales area for staff and customers.
- Observe, coach, and react to what is happening to continuously improve the customer experience and productivity of the team.
- Manage the team's visibility on the sales area to optimize the number of sales consultants in this area.
- Encourage the team to meet or exceed sales and profitability targets while adopting an exemplary role.
- Grow team members.
- Prepare and participate in annual individual performance reviews by providing relevant and specific feedback.
- Follow up on training provided to teams.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection of sales advisors.
Sales and customer experience
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to align the customer experience with the company's vision.
- Contribute to driving sales with passion. Collaborate with the Sales Manager on ways to continuously increase and improve sales key performance indicators.
Product management
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of the products and brands in its scope, and ensure the same at the level of its team.
- Maintain the presentation of the sales area in accordance with the requirements of the brands and DFS.
- Provide feedback to the Sales Manager to ensure the development of the commercial strategy (promotions, seasonal sales, etc.).
- Ensure the correct level of stocks.
Ideal Candidate
- Degree or an equivalent combination of education; or work experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential tasks of the role.
- At least 2 years’ experience in the luxury retail; team leadership experience within the retail or service industry preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with people at various levels.
- Possess an outgoing and assertive personality, with a desire to lead and inspire their teams.
- Possess a passion for the brands and products you represent.
- Good communication skills, both spoken and written in French and English.
