TAX Specialist

Adecco Romania is recruiting for its client, a major player in the construction sector, a TAX Specialist for Bucharest.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, process, and maintain paperwork related to all aspects of the accounting cycle, culminating in the preparation and filing of tax returns and filed returns and forms in a timely manner;
• Review operations and procedures to ensure compliance with local statutes and regulations and identify opportunities for tax savings;
• Monitor tax return deadlines, request payments, and reconcile all Consolidated VAT from Projects;
• Confirm the accuracy of records and documents related to tax reporting and preparation;
• Ensure that corporate tax-return preparation meets all regulatory requirements;
• Assist in developing business and investment strategies for an optimized tax return;
• Remain up to date with changes in the tax code and accounting laws;
• Conduct research on tax compliance issues at the local and national levels;
• Resolve tax issues, respond to tax assessments, assist in audits, and apply for refunds.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience in tax processing from 5 to 10 years;
• Fluency in English is a must; Italian is a plus;
• Good knowledge of Romanian Tax law and up to date.
