JOB DESCRIPTION

Launch your career in international tax by joining our dynamic team! As a Tax Intern, you will support our tax department in various advisory and compliance tasks, gaining valuable hands-on experience and exposure to a broad range of international tax issues. Your key responsibilities will include :

• Supporting the tax team in all advisory and compliance-related tasks.
• Assisting in the research for the preparation of tax memos and opinions for international tax matters.
• Helping prepare tax returns.
• Supporting the processing of requests from tax authorities and assisting in the filing of tax returns.
• Analyzing accounting information to ensure accuracy.
• Supporting the review of tax assessments and following up on administrative procedures (when necessary).
• Collaborating with senior team members to support our advisory practice and expand your knowledge.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for an eager and motivated individual who is keen to learn and gain experience in both VAT and direct tax. To thrive in this role, you should have :

• Ongoing university studies in finance, economics, law, or a related field, with a focus on accounting and taxes.
• Some prior experience (internship) in tax advice and compliance, preferably in Luxembourg, or a reputable law office, is a plus.
• A strong interest in tax issues, along with a willingness to develop expertise in this area.
• Proficiency in English (oral and written) is required; knowledge of French and / or German is considered an asset.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
