Exciting Opportunity: UNDERGROUND SURVEYOR (Stock Mine Project, Timmins, ON)

Dumas is a leading full-service mining contractor operating in the Americas. The company’s client list includes some of the world’s largest and most respected mining companies.

We need an experienced mine surveyor who will meet the following performance expectations:

1. Work under the direction of the Project Superintendent
2. Responsible for daily surveying duties in support of project and/or production
3. Will involve both lateral and vertical development, construction and production work
4. Responsible for daily updating of project/production blueprints and plans
5. Responsible for the duplication and provision of plans/prints as required by construction, development and production personnel
6. Responsible to assist with planning and production meetings
7. Required to operate some surface and underground vehicles
8. Perform any other reasonable job tasks as requested by supervision
9. Report any unsafe condition or act to supervision immediately. Rectify or isolate immediately if possible

Required Skills And Qualifications

1. Proficiency in MS Office, MS Outlook, Internet, Excel, A-Mine and Deswik systems
2. Ontario Underground Common Core preferred but not required
3. 2 years of u/g survey experience
4. Excellent time management and organizational skills
5. Safe work record
6. Thorough knowledge of all safety, health and environmental regulations as they pertain to the work and workplace
