Location: France (Paris), followed by Contractor’s engineering center during project execution in Europe
Activities
1. HSE and Ethics
- Uphold exemplary H3SE behavior and ensure compliance with project H3SE rules across all technical documentation and contractor activities.
- Promote the Anti-Corruption Program and enforce ethical practices.
- Lead all Steel Lazy Wave Riser (SLWR) design activities during the FEED, Call for Tender, and EPCI phases.
- Ensure compliance with Company rules, specifications, project requirements, and international codes.
- Supervise and validate the SLWR subsystem design, including 4 Production SLWRs and 2 Gas Injection SLWRs.
- Optimize riser configurations to minimize fatigue, FPSO pull-in loads, and clashes with other subsea systems.
2. Tender and Procurement
- Prepare technical packages for SLWR-related tendering phases.
- Evaluate technical offers and conduct clarifications with tenderers.
- Ensure timely closing of technical qualifications and provide input for RTA technical sections.
3. Documentation and Review
- Define and maintain technical documentation related to SLWR engineering.
- Review and validate contractor documentation to ensure alignment with project specifications.
4. Supervision and Coordination
- Liaise with SURF, FPSO, and SPS teams to ensure alignment on interface matters.
- Supervise SLWR-related testing, fabrication, and installation activities, ensuring compliance with QA/QC and H3SE requirements.
5. Reporting and Optimization
- Report potential deviations to the Technical Manager and propose optimized solutions.
- Participate in HAZID/HAZOP and design/constructability reviews.
6. Support and Coordination
- Assist the SURF Technical Manager in managing technical and contractual aspects of the SLWR package.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to technical, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Consolidate and share lessons learned for continuous improvement and feedback to Company entities.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- At least 10 years in large offshore oil and gas SURF deep-water projects.
- Proven experience in SLWR design on EPCI projects, including flexible or titanium stress joints.
- Strong knowledge of DNV codes and CLIENT General Specifications.
- Experience with major SURF contractors for deep-water projects.
- Strong HSE awareness in subsea construction.
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
- Ability to work in large, multidisciplinary, and multicultural teams.
Mobility: Willingness to travel internationally as required.
