Job Description: The incumbent is responsible for supporting Human Health (HH) in having an industry-leading strategy and innovative approach to sourcing & creating commercial data assets to inform business critical decisions and actions. Reporting directly to the managing director, the incumbent will be assigned to create & implement the HH digital, data asset strategy & innovation agenda for the subsidiary across all therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute as an active member of the Leadership Team leading the transformation in the subsidiary.
  2. Contribute to the strategy and realization of the subsidiary.
  3. Develop a strong team on Strategy, Digital and Data and advanced Analytics to support the needs of the subsidiary.
  4. Actively maintain a comprehension of the HH commercial data landscape, including assigned party data assets, spanning HCP, consumer, payer, Digital, patient, account, etc. Maintain a working knowledge of the use cases and value associated with each data asset.
  5. Continually scan the external environment for new valuable data assets and potential data partnerships in the assigned area.
  6. Lead the L&D Strategy for the subsidiary.
  7. Conduct data needs assessments in assigned areas using input from key analytics and business stakeholders, identify gaps in current data strategy versus ideal state & prioritize identified gaps.
  8. For assigned areas, build and execute plans to fill prioritized gaps, including acquisition of new assets from external sources, identifying partners to create needed assets, or enacting internal initiatives such as gathering new 1st party assets.
  9. Partner with internal teams to ingest/review external data sources for use by the analytic teams.
  10. Conduct assigned data innovation diagnostics including data quality assessments, fit-for-purpose analyses, and proof-of-concept use case tests.
  11. Lead the effort to capture and maintain business rules for digital interactions, including overseeing the governance and change management for the data.
  12. Assist the Data Enablement Leader in defining, deploying and leading the governance model for digital interaction data.
  13. Work in close association with the data enablement teams to ensure appropriate implementation and value realization.
  14. Accountable for forming and maintaining productive working partnerships with assigned data providers.
  15. Create an environment of high-performance partnership by building strong cross-functional teams.
  16. Work with cross-functional stakeholders to define the business value of new datasets, execute pilots, and successfully transition to operational teams.
  17. Develop well-articulated strategy to succeed in an evolving digital media and data landscape.
  18. Ability to synthesize complicated technical concepts in a way that is understandable and actionable.

Knowledge & Education:

  1. Bachelor (or equivalent)
  2. Three or more years of knowledge on Digital and Data and Advanced Analytics.

Preferred:

  1. MBA, or an equivalent

Qualifications:

  1. Strong business acumen with a keen ability to comprehend how data (HCP, consumer, payer, patient, account, engagement, etc.) can be leveraged to inform critical commercial decisions and actions.
  2. People Management skills.
  3. Proven ability to effectively manage complexity.
  4. Deep understanding of the digital space including promotional and social media data, standards and tools.
  5. Proven ability to analyze and assess the commercial value of data assets.
  6. Strong business acumen necessary to appreciate business stakeholders (marketing, sales, account management, operations, etc.) needs.
  7. Proven potential to effectively partner with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Academic curiosity and ability to identify innovative approaches to addressing data needs.
  9. Accountability - holding self (and others) accountable to meet commitments.
  10. Proactive, positive, self-starter with a passion for continually improving the processes around you.
  11. Knowledge of established and emergent identity resolution workflows utilized in digital, patient, and physician datasets (LiveRamp, Datavant, etc.).
  12. Experience executing data strategy engagements in a SaaS, advertising agency, or management consultant capacity.
  13. Understanding of cloud computing workflows and the integration of datasets across multiple systems (AWS, GCP, Azure, GA etc.).
  14. In-depth knowledge of the digital media ecosystem, brand marketing, and technology industry.
  15. An interest and curiosity in the evolving technology and privacy landscape, and how marketers must adapt.
  16. Excellent presentation, analytics and communication skills, both written and oral, to synthesize key issues and convey/persuade constituencies towards specific actions and initiatives.
  17. Ability to attain “trusted advisor” status with key stakeholders and business clients.
  18. Ability to operate in a dynamic, transforming environment.
