The General Management department is expanding its team and is seeking a talented and dynamic Event Manager Trainee to support the Strategy Director in executing a big event milestone for La Maison: our owners convention planned in June 2025.

This internship should start as soon as possible for 6 months and will be based in our headquarters in Issy-les-Moulineaux.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our renowned luxury brands on a global scale.

Here are the main missions you will be performing:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, and freelancers to create a memorable and high-end event experience for our partners.
  • Coordinate across different departments (operations, marketing, talent & culture, etc.) to ensure timelines and deliverables are met on schedule.
  • Assist in the event scenography, contributing to the conceptualization and execution of the event's aesthetic and ambiance.
  • Support in managing suppliers, venues, and external service providers, ensuring quality standards align with the luxury positioning of the event.
  • Contribute to the development of communication materials including invitations, social media assets, and post-event content.
  • Oversee guest management including invitations, RSVPs, and VIP protocols, ensuring a seamless and tailored experience.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to propose innovative and creative ideas to elevate the event's prestige.
  • Assist in budget tracking and administrative tasks, ensuring all financial aspects are well-documented.
  • Help with onsite event coordination to guarantee smooth execution from setup to breakdown.

You will also be asked:

  • Provide support to the Strategy Director on other missions related to day-to-day operations, contributing to the smooth running of ongoing projects.
  • Work on the internal communication execution in close collaboration with the Senior Manager to ensure alignment with the company's vision and messaging.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Currently pursuing a master's degree in hospitality business or marketing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (data tracking and budgeting), PowerPoint (presentations), and Word (documentation).
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of an additional language (e.g., French) is a plus, especially in a luxury event context.
  • Creativity: A keen eye for design and aesthetics with an understanding of high-end branding and event scenography.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners, showing initiative and a proactive mindset.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in managing event details such as guest lists, timelines, and budgets, ensuring flawless execution.
  • Problem-Solving: Resourceful and adaptable with a solutions-oriented approach to unforeseen challenges.
  • Interest in Luxury: A genuine interest in luxury branding and a strong understanding of what defines a luxury event experience.
  • Agility and Flexibility: Curiosity, listening skills, and an analytical mindset.
  • Fluent in English, which will be the working language for this role.

  • Paid internship ideally starting in February 2025.
