Job DescriptionAs the Store Director for De Beers flagship store in Paris, your primary purpose is to lead the store's operations, drive sales growth, and uphold the brand's prestigious reputation. You will be responsible for managing the business on a day-to-day basis, ensuring exceptional customer service, and fostering a motivated and high-performing team. Your role is pivotal in creating a luxurious shopping experience that reflects the excellence of De Beers London.
Role Responsibilities:
- Sales Management and Business Development: Lead and oversee the store's sales initiatives, driving innovative strategies to maximise performance while cultivating robust relationships with VIP clientele to enhance loyalty and retention. Implement comprehensive action plans to boost sales across all product categories, leveraging market insights and customer feedback. Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, including partnerships and community engagement, to expand market presence and customer base. Monitor and analyse sales metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to meet and exceed sales targets and business objectives.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, and motivate staff to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service. Coach staff to foster growth and ensure proper training. Motivate and develop sales staff through regular meetings and target setting.
- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate inventory levels, optimize stock mix and levels to reflect sales trends, and maintain merchandise presentation standards.
- Administrative Management: Oversee store operations, control costs, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Customer Service: Maintain the highest degree of customer service, foster a welcoming atmosphere, and handle complex client issues whilst ensuring the team also have the skills to support.
- Store Visuals: Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure displays reflect the brand's spirit of excellence. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and store presentation.
- Brand Representation: Act as a brand ambassador, network within the local community, and cultivate new clientele. Maintain awareness of the local trading environment and competitors' activities.

Who You Are
- Fluent in the local language and fluent in spoken and written English. Other languages (e.g., Chinese, Arabic) are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of the luxury jewellery retail industry and an inherent interest in the jewellery industry.
- Proven record of delivering sales results and experience in a store environment, flagship is a plus.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), able to use a POS system, and strong digital presentation skills.
