Schneider Electric's mission is to empower everyone to make the most of their energy and resources, ensuring that Life Is On everywhere, for everyone, at every moment. We focus on delivering digital solutions for efficiency and sustainability across various sectors, helping businesses and individuals optimize their energy use and reduce their environmental impact.
As the environmental impact evaluation of EcoDesign actions intern, you will join the Eco-Design Center of Excellence, part of the Innovation & Technology team in the Energy Management Business Unit. Our mission is to develop and deliver cutting-edge solutions that enhance energy efficiency, sustainability, and reliability. This involves leveraging advanced technologies, such as IoT, artificial intelligence, and digital twins, to optimize energy consumption, reduce carbon footprints, and enable customers to navigate the energy transition effectively.
The focus is on empowering businesses and communities to harness energy resources intelligently and sustainably, driving innovation that meets the evolving demands of a more connected and sustainable world.
Your role:
As part of this, we have developed an eco-design end to end process that allows projects to address different eco-design categories and levers. Thanks to this process, it is now relatively easy to define which levers can be addressed in projects (depending on the product range and market requirements), but we now need to go further by quantifying the impact of these different ideas (benefits, trade-off management, etc.).
We are looking for a dedicated intern to work on the impact evaluation of EcoDesign actions. This role is crucial for creating and disseminating content, developing training plans, and fostering community engagement among Eco-Design professionals. The successful candidate will help establish a strong Eco-Design momentum across our organization, ensuring knowledge and resources are accessible at all levels.
This 6-month mission should ideally start in May 2025. The position will be supervised by our LCA and eco-design development tools expert Charles Gnanaraj Devaraju who is based in Bangalore (India), and requires a commitment to our divisions in the Grenoble area (Electropole, 31 r François Quesnais, 38320 Eybens in particular). This local activity will be supervised by our eco-design deployment product owner Willy Martin.
