Stage - Data Project Manager

Allianz Partners is a global company, operating in a number of markets in Europe and Worldwide. The Pricing department is focused on building tariffs and pricing tools for travel insurance products, using statistical methods and assuring high technical excellence. The role collaborates closely with teams based in other countries.

What you do

Reporting to the Head of Travel Pricing and Analysis Europe, your responsibilities will be:

• Preparation of pricing models and tariffs for travel insurance products
• Analysis of historical data, finding patterns, building statistical models
• Participation in development of tools for pricing of travel insurance products
• Validation and update of existing pricing models
• Preparation of tariff documentation
• Cooperation with underwriting and product colleagues from international offices

What you bring

• 7+ years of professional experience related to data analysis and building statistical models in the insurance or finance field
• Degree in actuarial science, statistics, econometrics, mathematics, computer science, data analytics or related
• Experience working with tools for insurance modelling and tariffication: Emblem and Radar
• Experience working with MS SQL (or equivalent) database
• Experience working with tools for data analytics: Python
• Very good skills in MS Office, with emphasis on Excel
• Willingness to work in an international environment
• Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing
