Required:

• Proficiency in programming languages, such as Ruby or Python
• Experience with SQL database queries
• Knowledge of version control systems: Git, GitHub
• Driven and committed, demonstrating a high level of self-motivation, collaborative
• Language: fluency in French (C1 level or above), good command of English (B1 level or above)

Desired:

• Experience with a UI framework such as Angular
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools: Docker/Kubernetes
• Familiarity with GenAI concepts and usage
• Knowledge of the Ruby on Rails framework
• Understanding of the Databricks platform

Education:

• Currently pursuing the last year of a master’s degree in computer science or software engineering

Responsibilities:

Over a period of 6 months, you will be responsible for developing team performance metrics based on our software delivery production flow. Your task will involve full stack development to extract data from Jira, construct metrics, and facilitate easy navigation and analysis through these metrics. Your responsibilities will include:

• Investigating the 4 main DORA metrics
• Proposing an approach to compute metrics from information in Jira
• Developing the Jira extraction process to populate the database
• Developing the data pipeline to build the expected metrics on Databricks
• Designing graphs to aid in the visualization of these metrics

About The Team:

We are offering a Software Developer Internship at our tech firm. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on software development experience, guided by seasoned professionals.

You will be part of our engineering team delivering products and services to the insurance industry. It involves designing, developing, and testing SaaS software components within a scrum team, as well as supporting clients in production. As a developer, you will design, code, debug applications, participate in code reviews, and share knowledge. Working in an Agile environment, you will interact with diverse profiles in an international context.

You will work in pair with another intern working on the same topic, supervised by project managers and technical leaders.
