Scope of Activity (E-Power): Battery packs, electronics, and power electronics for heavy mobility and light vehicles
Localisation: Pfastatt
Missions:
- Deploy and maintain OPmobility’s HSE policy on-site, with a particular focus on electrification and batteries.
- Supervise the implementation of prevention tools on-site.
- Analyze accidents (LTA, NLTA, first aid) and near misses to determine causes and manage the associated action plan.
- Train employees on TSV, first aid, safety risk analysis, lockout/tagout (LOTO), safety rules, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Provide HSE training for new employees.
- Define, maintain, and deploy standard rules and equipment in collaboration with the Industrialization department to safely assemble power electronics components and battery packs, and verify their effectiveness.
- Define, maintain, and deploy rules and standards for laboratory equipment with the R&D department.
- Define and implement best practices, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risks, raise safety awareness, and improve HSE processes.
- Promote ergonomics through HSE activities.
- Maintain the site’s HSE KPIs and ensure reporting at the BU/Group level.
- Manage and maintain all relevant HSE certifications for the site.
- Define an action plan to achieve carbon neutrality in line with OPmobility Group’s goals.
- Lead specific local projects to reduce energy consumption or implement renewable energy sources.
- Maintain communication with the OPmobility Group HSE network.
- Promote and support Act for All activities on-site (CSR).
Profile:
- Technical degree with a specialization in HSE.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in the HSE field, preferably in the industry (Chemicals, Electronics).
- Strong knowledge of occupational health as well as environmental protection.
- Team spirit, excellent communication skills, and change management abilities.
- Proficiency in English required.
