The headquarters of the AXA Group (GIE AXA) brings together our corporate activities. It provides guidance and support to subsidiaries around the world, to ensure the coordination and monitoring of the Group's global strategy, the application of its standards, the consistency of commercial approaches and the sharing of best practices. The headquarters gathers approximately 1000 employees and is distinguished by its strong international culture (45 nationalities), which makes it a rich and stimulating place to work.
You will join the Group Tax Department (GTD), a team of 12 professionals. You will report to the head of Tax accounting and Reporting working on a global scope.
Your main mission:
- Analyze ETR and deferred taxes in IFRS consolidated accounts
- Control figures for the Tax Note of the annual report (note 17)
- Preparation of tax presentations for Management and auditors
- Support PBRC (central accounting and consolidation team), GPM and entities for all IFRS tax accounting and reporting issues
- Country by Country reporting, Transparency report and other transparency questionnaires
- Analyze figures reported in Galaxy and Magnitude (consolidation and participations software)
- Support and liaise with entities to collect data, challenge and solve issues.
- Prepare the database to be sent to Tax administration through INVOKE (tax software)
- Prepare the Transparency report disclosed on AXA Website.
- Contribute to DJSI and VBDO questionnaire and find ways to improve the rating
- Tax reform monitoring
- Contribute to the analysis of impacts following tax reforms or new accounting rules
- Develop tools to help tax reporting analysis
- AXA SA tax topics
- Ensure a deep analysis of the tax losses of AXA SA tax group and its accounting impacts
- Contributes to various finance processes.
- Pillar 2 Implementation and reporting
- Collect and analyze the data provided by AXA entities and retrieved from the calculation tool
- Ensure adequate governance for Group compliance.
- Assist entities to understand and analyze the impacts
- Projects and other
- Management of the TAX Group Sharepoint and other Group tax tools
- Be involved in the management of the tax data in our legal referential tool
- Contribute to any projects involving the tax department for instance IT system, implementation of new Consolidation tax system
- Collaborate with other member of the department on any tax related topics when necessary. Moreover, Contribute to develop new data base allowing better analysis of the tax figures by Management
Let’s talk about you:
- IFRS, tax and accounting skills
- International tax rules, consolidation and finance skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Strong proficiency in IT tools, database, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment with people with diverse backgrounds and cultures

- Ability to organize effectively while dealing with many topics at the same time and work under pressure, remaining always effective whilst maintaining excellent attention to quality and deadlines.
