Following a recent promotion, we are looking for our future Central Cluster General Manager covering France, The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.

Job Purpose : To provide strategic and operational direction and leadership to the dedicated region aligned to the Global KKI Purpose, Vision, Values and Strategy across all relevant cluster countries including providing appropriate direction and guidance to Country Manager(s).

Lead a successful commercial region within the designated territory in line with maximising overall collective company goals by achievement of local KPIs. Manage a product mix focused on the rare diseases’ portfolio.

A strategic partner within the wider KKI senior team to support, manage and add value in the achievement of global objectives through effective cross functional working.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide strategic support to colleagues and other global functions ensuring the future growth and achievement of KKI collective ambition to become a Global Specialty Pharmaceutical company.
  • Actively contribute to the strategy and operational effectiveness of the company, especially as related to the rare disease portfolio.
  • Collaborate to ensure the success of future product launches and commercialisation programs within the rare disease portfolio.
  • Cooperate with Functional Heads and be responsible for the region’s corporate compliance and quality controls (including adherence to internal controls) to ensure all systems are maintained to an auditable standard.
  • Work in collaboration with other functions at Head Office to optimise company performance e.g. International Medical, International Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical and all of the support functions with a particular focus on optimising commercial and customer facing functions.
  • Integrate KKI corporate purpose, vision, values, and strategy into regional business.
  • Deliver cluster P&L and corporate objectives, including determining the appropriate targets / objectives for all cluster countries in line with associated functions and business leaders.
  • Accountable for all financial aspects of the business in the region (across the cluster) including accurately forecasting sales, budget, cash flow and P&L management.
  • Develop a positive KKI brand presence across the region.
  • Accountability for local pricing reimbursement of existing and future rare disease brands in line with International Pricing and Reimbursement Strategies to maximise product potential.
  • Full accountability of all regional and joint accountability for international rare disease product launches, including pre & post launch activities to ensure milestones are met within specified timeframes.
  • Adherence to all international and local laws and regulations, which includes Anti-Bribery and Corruption and EFPIA / local code of compliance.
  • As corporate officer, you are accountable to the local authorities in Cluster countries.
  • Gain and maintain good understanding of the Quality System within the company including Pharmacovigilance, Product complaint / recall handling and Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
  • Ensure third party relationships are agreed and implemented according to EU and national legislation.
  • Management reporting to the Board of Directors for the local Kyowa Kirin affiliate.

Qualifications

Position Requirements :

  • University degree in Science / Economic / Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Proven record of consistent success within multiple disciplines in a commercial leadership role responsible for financial objectives, ideally in a multi-geography environment.
  • Must have extensive experience working within pharmaceutical sales and marketing.
  • A “hands on manager” who is comfortable within an entrepreneurial, fast paced, results oriented environment.
  • Effective working with cross-functional teams both locally and internationally.
  • Proven track record of collective ambition to achieve company goals through matrix structures.
  • Experience in leading a business across multiple therapeutic areas and product management at varying stages of lifecycle.
  • Experience in successful product launches.
  • Excellent local and English language skills, language skills supporting other countries within the cluster an advantage.
