ManTech Senior Software Developer in Chantilly, Virginia

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Drive individual and team success. Be more than an amazing developer. As the Senior Software Engineer, you will own the delivery of the software solution for our customer and need to harness the collective talent of the team to achieve project goals.
2. Lead a team of multi-disciplined engineers to design, develop, and test software solutions to satisfy program requirements.
3. Provide leadership and technical expertise across the software development lifecycle to include design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and accreditation activities.
4. Communicate effectively with customers, management, and other engineering teams in secure environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. B.S. in a technical field with 7+ years of software engineering experience including team leadership experience.
2. Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
3. Agile software development experience with hands-on experience with technologies including Python, Typescript, Angular, Docker, Gitlab, Elasticsearch, Grafana, FastAPI, Temporal, Kubernetes, Postgres.
4. Git or other software version control systems.
5. Experience with AWS cloud services.
6. Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines.
7. Experience with containerization and microservice architectures.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Familiarity with classified development supporting the Intelligence Community or DoD mission spaces.
2. Comfortable working with Linux / Red Hat operating systems on a daily basis.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
