Senior Site Supervisor

Collaboration with: Engineer Team, HSE Supervisor, Procurement Team

Brief:

Site supervisors monitor the progress of construction projects and ensure compliance with construction safety regulations. They must be able to prepare schedules, implement them accordingly, supervise construction workers and subcontractors, educate construction workers on site safety practices, prepare work methods, and evaluate workers' performance.

Job Descriptions:

• Preparing schedule or work plan and implementing it accordingly.
• Making reports of material usage every day.
• Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors.
• Collaborating with HSE Supervisor in educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.
• Collaborating with HSE Supervisor to enforce site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries.
• Collaborating with HSE Supervisor in handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol.
• Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance.
• Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed.
• Analyzing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications.
• Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.
• Understanding how to control the quality of the construction process.
• Preparing checklists to ensure that the steps of construction meet the standards.
• Preparing work methods for each construction process.
• Ensuring the updated construction drawings are provided to Engineer teams.

Minimum Requirements:

• Completion of a post-secondary education construction training program.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction science, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience working as a site supervisor.
• Sound knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations.
• Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
• The ability to interpret blueprints.
• Outstanding leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• The construction process meets the approved drawings.
• Daily workers perform their jobs as per approved work methods.
• Daily workers are disciplined and use working time effectively.
• No reworks.
• Plans and implementations are met accordingly.
• Accurate Material Usage Reports.
